About

Misty Poole, MD, is a native of Toombs County and spent much of her time playing softball for both Vidalia and Toombs County.    She began her educational career at Lyons Elementary, attended Middle School in Vidalia, and graduated from Toombs County High School.  Dr. Poole spent her first two years of college at Georgia Southern University and later transferred to the University of Georgia. Dr. Poole studied medicine at Mercer University School of Medicine.  She was accepted into the Internal Medicine residency program and served as Chief Resident at the Medical Center of Central Georgia, which is Georgia’s second largest hospital.
